Ortho Tech Lab is a trading name of ORTHODONTIA L.L.C-FZ (“Orthodontia”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Ortho Tech Lab is a brand operated by Orthodontia and is not a separate legal entity. All orders placed through orthotechlab.ae are contracts with ORTHODONTIA L.L.C-FZ.

By registering an account, placing an order or otherwise using orthotechlab.ae (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
We may update these Terms at any time. The version published on the Site at the time you place an order governs that order.
The Site is intended for use by licensed dental and orthodontic professionals and the clinics or laboratories they represent. It is not intended for patients or the general public.
By registering, you confirm that:
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
We manufacture custom orthodontic and dental appliances to the specifications you submit. We act as a dental laboratory and manufacturer only.
We do not diagnose, prescribe, provide clinical advice or practise dentistry. All clinical decisions — including case selection, treatment planning, appliance design suitability, fitting and patient care — remain entirely the responsibility of the treating clinician.
Any design suggestion, technical comment or recommendation from our team is a manufacturing opinion only and does not replace your clinical judgement.
5.1 Placing an order. Orders are placed by completing the online case submission form and uploading the required files. An order is a request to manufacture and is only accepted once we confirm it in writing.
5.2 Accuracy of submissions. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of everything you submit, including scans, photographs, measurements, appliance selections, tooth designations and shipping details. We manufacture to the specification received. We are not liable for appliances that are unsuitable because of incorrect, incomplete or poor-quality submissions.
5.3 Digital files. Scans must be supplied in the formats stated on the Site and must be of adequate quality. We may reject a file and request a new scan. Repeat scans requested because of file quality may be subject to additional lead time.
5.4 Changes and cancellation. Because every appliance is custom-made, an order may only be changed or cancelled before production begins. Once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled and is payable in full.
5.5 Refusal. We may decline any order at our discretion, including where the submission is incomplete, the design is not technically feasible, or payment is not received.
6.1 Prices are shown on the Site in the currency stated and are calculated from the options you select.
6.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment in full is required before production begins.
6.3 Prices exclude shipping, customs duties, import taxes and any other charges imposed in the destination country, which are your responsibility.
6.4 Value Added Tax is applied where required under UAE law. Tax invoices are issued by ORTHODONTIA L.L.C-FZ.
6.5 We may change prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
7.1 Stated turnaround times are estimates measured from the date a complete, acceptable case submission and payment are received. They are not guaranteed.
7.2 We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, incomplete submissions, requests for clarification, or events outside our reasonable control.
7.3 Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the courier. Title passes on full payment.
7.4 You are the importer of record for international shipments and are responsible for compliance with local import and medical device regulations in your country.
8.1 Custom-made appliances cannot be returned or refunded once manufactured, except as set out below.
8.2 Manufacturing defects. If an appliance does not match the approved specification or has a manufacturing defect, notify us at orders@orthotechlab.ae within [X] days of delivery, with photographs and a description. Where we accept the claim, we will remake the appliance at no charge, or at our discretion issue a credit or refund.
8.3 Remakes. Remakes required because of inaccurate impressions or scans, clinical changes, patient factors, or a change of specification after approval are chargeable at the standard rate.
8.4 Our total liability for any appliance is limited as set out in clause 11.
9.1 All content on the Site, including designs, text, images, logos and software, is owned by or licensed to Orthodontia and may not be copied, reproduced or reverse-engineered without written permission.
9.2 You retain ownership of the patient data and scan files you submit. You grant us a licence to use them for the purpose of designing, manufacturing, delivering and providing support for your order, and for our internal quality-control and record-keeping.
9.3 We may retain manufacturing files and case records for quality assurance, remakes and regulatory purposes.
10.1 You must not submit information that identifies a patient beyond what is necessary. Use a case reference rather than a patient’s full name wherever possible.
10.2 You confirm that you have obtained all consents required under the laws applicable to you before submitting any patient data to us.
10.3 We handle submitted data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.
11.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11.2 Subject to 11.1, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
11.3 We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of chair time, loss of goodwill, patient claims, or the cost of additional treatment.
11.4 We are not liable for clinical outcomes. Responsibility for treatment planning, fitting, monitoring and patient safety rests with the treating clinician.
Appliances are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and to conform to the approved specification. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, patient non-compliance, breakage in normal clinical use, modification by any party, or wear and tear. No other warranty, express or implied, is given.
We may suspend or close your account and refuse further orders where these Terms are breached, where payment is outstanding, or where we reasonably believe the account is being misused. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Outstanding orders and payment obligations survive termination.
We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, conflict, government action, utility or internet failure, courier disruption, or material shortages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory rules applicable to the free zone in which ORTHODONTIA L.L.C-FZ is registered.
16.1 These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written order confirmation, form the entire agreement between us.
16.2 If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
16.3 Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
16.4 You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
